Many stalkers and bandits cannot stand winter in the Zone due to brutal temperature changes and Blizzards that periodically sweep across the CEZ.

And although an ordinary down jacket is unlikely to solve the frostbite problem, the Arctic Explorer, padded with an extra layer of synthetic insulation, will at least keep you from freezing the moment you step outside the Bar.
