The reinforced anomalous protection suit can be considered one of the experiments by the Zone's masters, created by some inexplicable intuition.

No one can say for sure why the Baron's mechanics decided to focus so much on protection against electricity. However, due to a makeshift protective system working on the principle of a Faraday cage, it provides an extremely high level of protection against electric discharges. Nonetheless, this kind of protection required sacrificing the suit's mobility, which is why Spanner did not gain much popularity.
