A rare gravitational artifact found only in the Wild North.
Scientists suggest that Static has some kinship with Bracelet due to similar magnetic properties of the artifact. According to Professor Kubov's hypothesis, specimen No. 527-AO, known among stalkers as Static, is formed by particles with properties close to a theoretical magnetic monopole, allowing the artifact to have a sufficiently strong field capable of significantly slowing a bullet even from a rifle.
The unusual electromagnetic field properties that the artifact exhibits also hold its fragments together. Research by Research Institute 7, during which attempts were made to detach one of the parts of the Static, showed no results. However, there is a tale among stalkers of a careless rookie who managed to break the artifact by awkwardly landing on a Backpack from a Trampoline.
