A matte black crystal, noticeably different from other artifacts in its group by its level of transparency.

According to stalkers, Dark Crystal is an excellent writing tool, although its shape is inconvenient. Scientists who studied the artifact explain that its molecular structure is similar to the structure of graphite used in pencils. The only difference is the presence of silicon atoms in the lattice. How such a structure forms and remains stable is not yet explained by scientists.
