Like many artifacts from Blizzard, Frost is partially composed of ice; however, an interesting feature is the small crystals growing on the surface of the icy crust. At first glance, they resemble ordinary ice crystals, but in reality, their composition still raises questions among scientists due to their extraordinary plasticity.

Professor Cubov suggests that insoluble metals and salts in normal conditions are involved in the formation of the artifact, which explains the physical properties of Frost.
