The Steyr AUG (which stands for "Armee Universal Gewehr," meaning "universal army rifle") is a range of small arms that was launched in 1977 by the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch. In this particular rifle, a bullpup layout has been used, whereby the magazine and breech are located behind the firing hand grip and the trigger. There are two firing modes: single-shot and full-automatic.
